Hi Traci - In my 1967 San Diego city and suburb directory on page 562, left column, is "Morgan Melvin T (Sandra J)(spouse)h (head of household, other relations may be present including children under age 18) 1818 Newell St (residence)(NC)(National City)". There is no employer shown for Melvin or Sandra, nor occupations and no phone is listed. In the address cross directory, page 378, center column, is "Newell St - 1818 Morgan Melvin T 474-3713 (phone)". In the current postal zip code locator there is no zip code for 1818 Newell Street (only for 2300 block and higher), suggesting perhaps the area was condemned for a freeway or something of that nature.

I can give you the names of their neighbors who if still alive and locateable, may remember the family.

There is no listing for a Sandra ALLISON, but that would be because Sandra ALLISON of 1963 is Sandra J. MORGAN in 1967 as I understand your posting. Do you have Sandra J.'s parents names?

There is no listing for John E. LAIRD. If John E. was a young man in 1963, he might have still resided with parents or a relative. Do you have any relative names of John E.?

Hope this helps.
