Does anyone know these families in San Diego ca 1887 to 1951: William B P Prentice (1861-1941) married Hannah Vogdes Stewart 2-1-1887 San Diego; Hannah lived 1865 to 1951 died San Diego; it appears that the couple lived separately from about 1914 till their deaths. William Prentice lived and died in Los Angeles City; he boarded with my Grand Auntie Marie Booth in Los Angeles and appears they maintained a close friendship as Marie Booth was the informant on his death cert even. Hannah's father was William Henry Nassau Stewart, minister (1822-1886) died before the family came out to So CAL ca 1887; Hannah's mom was Julia VOGDES (1831-1907), died San Diego. William PRENTICE was born "abroad" and sometimes "France" and claims his dad born NJ and mom in "West Indies or "Jamaica" in records. I can't find a clue about William Prentices' parents other then this. Can anyone help tell me more about this family? Photos? I have some of Mr Prentice; he is a Caucasian man, tall, thin. He was a dry goods store owner and seemed to be well off. Thanks. April
