Am sure that you have since found all the information you were in search of regarding Pacific Ocean PARK. Which is true was about between Santa Monica and Venice. Once it closed, there are a continuous fires set by vandals and it would burn for days on end. Finally,they just let it burn itself for the longest time. Then set about taking it completely down. There are some rides that might haved been moved up to Santa Monica Pier. I recall seeing a ferris wheel, and merry go round from a distance. Television, killed so much. Then multi plex theatres. Then game boys, Computers, and computer games. and now we are up to X box's. I PODS, and cell phones, that are all in one. Such is the future and progress, but the "OLd Days" were so much more fun. And you go off your "duff" and were a lot healthier. cw
