Hi Paul,

One good place to start is the State Library on 9th & N street in Sacramento. They have Card indexes, microfish, Old news papers fom each county on film rolls.They are very helpfull there. If you find some one in the card index & on the card it says there is a photo, they can look it up for you, & bring it out for you to view. Any newspaper articles can be photo copied if viewed on certain machines.
They also have old phone directories. Very interesting place. If you go there, go early, park on the side where they have 4 hour parking otherwise you have to move your car every 2 hours. Better yet have someone drop you off.
