I am looking for descendants of John Henry Raffield and Selemnathy Jordan, married 1851 in Dooly County, GA. Their homestead was in Rebecca, GA. Children were as follows: William Smith Raffield born 1852 married first to Florence Sullivan, then second to Sarah Jane Railey. I am a descendant of William Smith Raffield and Sarah Jane Railey, they were my Great Grandparents. Edith Young Raffield born 1852 married William Alexander Bussell. Edith, William, and Selemnathy are buried at the Abba Baptist Church. Emolee Raffield born 1853 married Cullen Rogers Henry Raffield born 1856 Elizabeth J. Raffield born 1854 married John William Self John Martin Raffield born 1857 married Mollie Dozier Darkis Nancy Raffield born about 1861 married Andrew Jackson "Jack" Wilkerson Lona Raffield born 1859 married George Saturday Charles Jackson Raffield born 1860 married Nancy Ann Rodgers David Willis Raffield born 1877 married Mary Francis Lewis If you are a decendant of any of these people, please contact me.
