Linda, I went through Family Tree Finder Terry surname as my Carter cousin is in charge of it and Carter & Heftner Groups. After the results are in, I will add him to Light & Like groups. James is blind and does not have a cumputer so I will be adding his ancestry to his information. I ordered the 67 YDNA. I will send you a message when the results are in. My brother only had one son. My Dad's father was placed in a orphan's home in St Louis when he has young and a mistake was made in his surname and should have been Like not Light. A blind man raised my grandfather and I have found his family back a couple of generations after many years of searching.
I will continue to look for John Bush. I could order film to a branch library near me to look at Lancaster County records but some times when you order a film they can be hard to read or other problems. When you are in FHL you can look right away. The trip I found the Lunenburg County Land record that states William Bush was from St Mary's White Chapel, Lancaster, VA, I did not have time to check Lancaster County records. My public library does have a good collection of early Virginia records and my next trip downtown will check Lancaster County again for John Bush, in case I missed him. Eva
