I have always wondered what the link General Burnside was from my family. My father is the spitting image of the man, so I figured I would try to find a link. The consensus seems to be that he had no children so I assume I'm related through one of the brothers. This particular branch appears to be dead since I don't believe my grandmother had any brothers. My great-grandfather was Clyde Burnside ?-1968/69 married Ruth Hunsicker lived in Ladoga, Montgomery county, IN. His Father was George Washington Burnside. That is as far as I've gotten.
