It is possible that your Amos Buntin b. 1885 was a son of John S. Buntin b. 1852 who moved to Houston Co. Al (At that time it was Henry County) from Pavo, Georgia. I have 8 children of John S. Buntin, but no Amos. These Buntins in Alabama are relatives of mine and there were many who lived in that area. I have been there and many still remain. Most of my relatives lived in Pansey and Cottonwood, close to Ashford.
