place, george, of auburn, sus. co., his father was william place of middle smithfield, monroe co. he was the son of joseph place of ct. george place married 1st to polly jayne, a native of wyoming co. she was the d/o daniel and polly (berry) jayne and they had 3 children, mary jayne married daniel trimbel, emiline, married peter ace, and charles who died age 23. he married 2nd to elizabeth luce, d/o abram and amanda (bunnell)luce
