This information is taken from Douglas Co GA From Indian Trail to Interstate 20 by Fannie Mae Davis. Thomas Bullard was said to have a plantation home in Campbellton GA. The Bullards became reluctant hosts to Federal troups and nine year old Tallulah Bullard played the piano and sang for the invaders. All went well until the officers, vastly amused by their pint sized pianist with an over-sized voice, requested her to play "Yankee Doodle." With a toss of her curls and a defiant lift of her chin the nine year old belted out"Dixie." This was reported in 1864.
Tallulah Florence Bullard is buried in Henley Family Cemetery in Douglas Co GA. She is listed as having been married to: Dr. J. E. Henley and F. F. Dupre.
