Hello, I am part of a small group of Buckley researchers who are descendnants of John Buckley and Elizabeth Heddon of Shelby County, Tx who came to Texas in 1822. We have uncovered John Buckley is John Buckley Junior of Virginia per land deeds of Shelby County Texas. They were married in Shelby County Kentucky while he was serving in the War of 1812 that ended December 24, 1814.
