Dear Sandra,

Where did you find a reference in Collings Cemetery for Allen S. Bryan and Elizabeth Hubbert as the parents of Ahaz(s) Bryan bn. 1792/3 ?
If you found it in the Mercer County Genealogical and Historical Society, Box 97, Princeton, Mo 64673 I would like to get a copy of that information.
I have a copy of "A Tabulation of Mercer County Cemeteries" by Joe Dale Linn, 1986. On pg. 45, Collings Cemetery, it lists Ahas Bryan, died Aug 29 1852 and 59 years 8 months. Next to him is Mary, wife of Ahas, died May 13 1874, aged 77 y 1 m 14 d. Next to them is Elizabeth J., wife of A.W. Bryan (Son of Ahas and Mary) died Feb 9 1865 aged 31 y 3 m 7 d. A. W. Bryan remarried and had eight more children with Mary J. (Unknown)
I don't see any more Bryan information listed in Collings Cemetery.
Thomas Bryan bn 1725 Ireland d. 1793 Rockingham Co.,Virginia child # 11 was Allen S. Bryan b, Dec 1772 in Augusta Co., Virginia. Allen S. Bryan's # 2 child was Ahaz Bryan b. About 1800 in North Carolina d. About 1855. Information from LDS records.
I think the answer to your question is Thomas Bryan bn. 1725 Ireland is the father of Allen S. Bryan bn. dec 1772 in Augusta County, Virginia, died Mar 1839 in Sevier Co., Tennessee.
Hope this helps.
