C. J., Morgan's son John was not the one that died in 1800, but one who was shot in 1781 and had a son Lewis. The evidence is that the latter's widow Elizabeth, was in security of 1000 pounds, meaning that his estate was substantial, to Joseph Bryan and John Hampton, who were part of Morgan's family. I'm a descendant of John's daughter Mary, who married Thomas Huey. Paul Gifford
