I have a Brown family that could be related to Angus Brown who bought land early in Lowndes CO. Al then moved to Butler Co Al: Archibald M. Brown b. abt. 1790 Scotland m. Sarah McCarthy migrated from Union/Anson NC to Macon Co. Al 1836 Alexander A. Brown b. 1795 Scotland m. 1845 Macon Co. Al to Catherine Ruth Sikes. Married before to unknown. Jennet Brown b. abt 1800 NC or Scotland - married Stephen Currie Hamilton lived Macon Co. Al also. Her obit lists her parents as Angus and Jennet Brown. Perhaps this Angus is also a sibling to above!!?? Names are very similar. Any help appreciated!!
