I would like to encourage males with the surname BROOKS to participate in the FamilyTreemaker DNA testing. There are 11 BROOKS who have done so already. Our Oxford Ancestors is another source for obtaining the kit and analysis. The test is a simple cheek swab - and mail the kit back. Your name can be a number - The test results can be anonymous. You do need to provide the name of your OLDEST BROOKS male ancestor. If females could do this - I would have been first in line to try to solve some of our dilemmas and confusion over the many BROOKS men.
