I had begin to think the same about you and David. My ggranfather, Elias Cain, married Martha Broadwell, daughter of William Broadwell, in Cherokee County, Georgia in 1842. The Broadwell's lived in Hall County and moved to Cherokee County sometime between 1835 and 1840. Elias Cain evidently followed them there. The rest of his family remained in Hall or Lumkin Counties.
