Geraldine "Gerry" McGuire of Mount Prospect since 1968 The funeral Mass for Geraldine "Gerri" McGuire (nee Ewing), 67, will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, at St. Raymond de Penafort Church, Elmhurst Road (Route 83) at Lincoln St., Mount Prospect. Interment will be in All Saints Cemetery, Des Plaines. Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Monday, at Friedrichs Funeral Home, 320 W. Central Road (at Northwest Highway), Mount Prospect, and from 9 a.m. until the time of Mass on Tuesday, at the church. Born Dec. 29, 1939, in Joliet, she died Friday, May 18, 2007, at Lutheran General Hospital, Park Ridge. Mrs. McGuire was a graduate of St. Francis Academy, Joliet and St. Francis Hospital School of Nursing in Peoria. She was a graduate of the Called and Gifted program of the Archdiocese of Chicago. She was an extraordinary minister and minister of care at St. Raymond's. She retired from nursing at Holy Family Medical Center, Des Plaines. Survivors include her husband, Philip McGuire; children, Dr. Mary (Dr. Curtis) Hall, Dr. Philip M. (Terrell) McGuire, Patrick (Katriina) McGuire, Julia (Louis) Coco, Dr. John (Mimi Chang) McGuire and Colette (Timothy) Harkins; and 17 grandchildren.
