I have a Floyd Fillmore Brightwell in my tree at http://trees.ancestry.com/pt/pedigree.aspx?tid=696871&pid=-2048329651&pg=0 born 09 August 1898. I am trying to trace the line as follows, and I stop at Thomas Brightwell, b. 1740 Spotsylvania,Va, and d 12-30-1803. The Last documentation is Absolom Brightwell 1820 Spotsylvania,Virginia. born in 1775, d. 1833 Va. If this should reach anyone, I am trying to trace back past Thomas Brightwell, b 1740 Spotsylvania,,Virginia,USA D: 1803-12-30 Who married Mary Polly Ethington Thanks.
