From Ben R Brewer's Long Brewer Line book
Page 118 entry for William Brewer son of Oliver son of George, b 1752 Brunswick, Co., VA d 1835 m Mary.
"Deed Book 7 page 37 Brunswick Co., VA
William Brewer and wife to James Harris 1761. This indenture made 23 Nov 1761 ... William Brewer and Mary his wife of the parish of Meherrin and county of Brunswick for and in consideration of L27 current money of VA convey to James Harris of said county and parish atract of land containing 200 acres in the County of Brunswick on the south side of Beaver Pond Creek being part of 400 acres of land patented by George Brewer August 7, 1761"
He then ties this William to the Rev War pension S3085 Cert 1817 E. TN Agency.
Obviously he has munged together two different William Brewers, one being the Rev War soldier and the other who was a good bit older and married to Mary.
What I want to know is who was the William married to Mary and selling land in 1761.
