I have just begun researching my family. My great great grandfather was Isaac N. Brewer who was born in Warren County, Tennessee in 1828. I was told that his father was Russel (b. 1785 in Rowan, N.C. d.1858 in Trousdale, Tn. Russel was married to Nancy Toliver but Isaac is not listed as a child of theirs. I have searched Ancestry.com as well this forum and Archives.com and Genealogybank.com and have not been able to locate Isaac N.'s parents. Isaac had a son, Isaac N. (b. 1858). He had two children, J.W.(b. 1881) (my grandfather) and Laura (b.1888). I am anxious to discover if a link between Isaac N. and Russel can be verified. Please help if you can. Thanks, Karl
