You can look at a death certificate extract for Joseph SR for free at: http://search.labs.familysearch.org/recordsearch/start.html?datestamp=1195390820093#p=collectionDetails;t=searchable;c=1307888

It indicates he died 3 May 1908 in St. Vincent, AL, age 80, born in Philadelphia and that his father's name was William. You can also find Joseph Jr's.

You can also see his burial record for free at: http://search.labs.familysearch.org/recordsearch/start.html?datestamp=1195390820093#p=collectionDetails;t=searchable;c=1320976

It indicates he was buried in West Laurel Hill Cemetery in Philadelphia. I suggest contacting the cemetery which is probably just Laurel Hill Cemetery (without the West) to see what they have and see who else is buried in the same plot, undoubtedly Elizabeth is buried there too. But perhaps I speak too soon. Read on.

The same database of Philadelphia deaths also has the transit record of Elizabeth Brower who died 28 Feb 1900 in Ocean City, NJ, age 68 years born in Scotland and buried in the Odd fellows Cemetery in Philadelphia.

I don't know anything about what death records there are for New Jersey in 1900 but perhaps Cape May County recorded deaths.
