I am trying to locate Tabitha McQuirter, who married John Brewer July 22 1833 in Marengo County Alabama. I have no other information for either. However, there is a possibility that Tabitha may have been born in Tennessee or Alabama between 1810 - 1825. I am looking for Tabitha as I belive she may be the sister to James M McQuirter who is my ggggranfather. He was born in Tennessee in 1820 and later moved to and died in Clarke County Mississippi. I am in the process of trying to locate the marriage date and place for he and Mary Quimby. It may be in Sumter County. He also had two other sisters that I have found so far. One is Elizabeth who was born abt 1818 in Tennessee, and married Bennett Quimby on March 12 1833 in Perry County Alabama and Mary born abt 1824 in Alabama, who married Owen Evans on June 25 1840 in Sumter County Alabama. These sisters also moved to Clarke County Mississippi with their families. I was hoping that someone might have a Tabitha married to a John Brewer. Thank you, Crickett Benefield Orlando, Florida
