Rutlage, I've spent the last hour thoroughly enjoying your messages and annecdotes! This electronic approach to genealogy is quite new to me but I can see it may prove to be much more successful. This is the first time I've visited the Brazee site, having been involved with other family names.I was surprised to see so much! We know very little of our BRAZIE connection. My grandfather not being very forthcoming with information and my mother and her sisters not curious. This is all I know,but may have more written on a napkin or some such thing! My grandfather was Russell Brazie, b 14 Aug 1880 m. Pearl Gangell 21 Oct 1901/2. He had at least one brother, Arthur. Their father was Benj. Brazie m. Christine Devaux. My grandparents were married in Millerton NY. and they lived in Southfield MA. in 1909 when my mother was born.They moved from there to Torrington, CT. and finally to Harwinton, CT. My mother is always telling me what nice cousins I've missed out on knowing. Maybe through this medium I can meet a few! Any help will be appreciated-- and keep up the stories--all very interesting!
