Hi Gloria, and thanks for the reply. Sadly, I can't find any reference to a William Boyes, DOB circa 1805, although William is a common name amongst the Boyes of that period. Also, no reference to anyone emigrating to Rhode Island, although there are references to others who went to the Canadian/USA border region around that time. I'm sorry, but maybe someone esle with greater resources than mine may have some answers. All the best.
