I only know that Charles was owner of St Winnifreds Hotel in Avenue Victoria Scarborough in 1958 - don't know if he was born there, or if son David was born there - don't know much at all!! thankyou for your information and taking the time to reply anyway - if you have any ideas - I am going to Scarborough in a few weeks and have been in touch with there library with a view to finding the deeds of said hotel - maybe there would at least be a date of birth on there? best regards sue
