I am trying to connect the Bourgeois family that lived on the Magdalen Islands in the early 1800's to my family. According to the Bourgeois book, Joseph to Jacques to Claude lived on the islands in the late 1700's and that Raymond was born on the island but I am missing a generation to connect the two. Raymond had 4 children-Joseph Alexandre, Esther, Raymond and Emil. I am going to the islands this summer and would like to know the connection by then. Can anyone help?
