I am looking for the idenity of three Virgina families found in the 1860 census of Osage County Missouri Jefferson Township. They are listed as George Botermann 36, John Botterman 39 and James Botman 30. I cannot find Botterman's in Virginia but I do find Bosserman's and so the subject of my query, 1860 Census Osage Co MO Jefferson Twp Fam # 520: George Botermann 36 Farmer 1000/200 VA, wife Mary 31 VA, VA: R. 11, William 9, Melinda 4, and MO:Thomas 2. 1860 census Osage Co MO Jefferson twp Fam # 522: James Botman 30 Farmer 630 125 VA wife Virginia 27 Va, MO: Rebecca 7, Mary 5, L. 3, Jackson 9/12. 1860 Census Osage Co MO Jefferson Twp Fam # 521: John Botterman 39 Farmer 400/125 VA, Wife Elisa 34 VA, VA: Robert 15, Lucinda 12, Martha 11, George 9,John H. 7, William 3 and Louisa 11/12, all VA. Could these folks be Bosserman's? |
