My maiden name was Boothby and I still live in Lincolnshire. I have traced my Boothby family back to 1791, to a marriage between a James Boothby and Mary Potts. The marriage took place in Sibsey Lincolnshire. I have traced Mary's baptism (Nth Ormsby 1775, illigitimate daugter), but I cannot find the baptism record of James. He died in 1845 and his age on death would have him born circa 1771.Can anyone help? All my family seem to be from the Sibsey, Frampton, Frithville area of Lincolnshire. I used to work at Lincolnshire Archives and I have found some wonderul information on the Boothbys living in Sibsey between cica 1770 and 1905. The vicar kept a diary and some of the entries are very interesting. Hope to hear of anyone who can help me or think their family may be connected Diane
