Thanks for several comments. I have one question about the Bohons at the moment. William Ransdell and Ann Petty (you do know that Nancy used to be a nickname for Ann, don't you?) had an eldest son William, about whom very little is known. Something tells me that his wife might have been a Bohon, but I think they would have married in Virginia, where I find no record of such a marriage. They (Wm. Jr. and his unknown wife) had a son named William Benjamin, which could perhaps be for the two grandfathers. Do you have any record or suspicion of a Ransdell-Bohon mg. in Va., with the wife being a dau. of a Benj. Bohon?
