Hello to you all. Its nice to feel part of a group, I believe that there is only about two and a half thousand of us. I would also like to take responsability for bringing two more into the world as well :).

I discovered this site while doing some digging on behalf of my father Ian Blayney.

My father Ian, and his Brother Nigel Blayney have done a lot of digging into the family tree. I believe that they got as far back as Brochvael ( I apologise for my incorrect spelling ). I have also been fortunate that as a child I was taken to Greganoge house where I got to view the Blayney room :)

They traced their family decendants back to a James Blayney from London around 1850. But cannot find much information about James due to the records being destroyed by fire. If anyone has any information about James Blayney from London in the 1850's they would be greatfull.

I apologise for the lack of decent information, I will sit at my fathers side I think and pick his brains about the family tree. So that I can better word my questions.

Watch this space for some more posts.
