My Blake line, as indicated in the book Southern Blakes by Kate Blake Daus, is: [1]Thomas Blake, wife Alice, his Will 1707 Isle of Wight Co., VA. [2] William Blake, wife Mary Sessoms, dau. of Nicholas and Katherine Sessoms. William's Will probated 1746 Isle of Wight Co. [3] William Blake, moved to Edgecombe Co., NC ca 1744, member of Granville Co., NC militia in 1755, later in Johnston Co., NC.[4] William Blake and 1st wife, name unknown. Lived Wake Co., NC, married 2nd to Lucy Allen Mobley, widow of William Mobley, moved to Elbert Co., GA where he died 1798, Rev. Soldier and served at Valley Forge. [5] Sarah Blake (1770-1848), dau. of William's first wife, name unknown, married William Hall, lived Elbert Co., GA. My email yonahdells@windstream.net
