Hi! I am trying to find out some information about my Blackburn line. On Sept. 25, 1827, John Smoot (b. 1807) married Sarah Blackburn - daughter of John - (b. 1809) in Henrico County. Their daughter, Sarah Frances, was my gg-grandfather's first wife. Also living in the household with John and Sarah, was Sarah's younger sister, Elizabeth Blackburn. John also had children with Elizabeth, one being my ggg-grandfather, Richard Henry Blackburn (later changed to Smoot). One of Richard Henry's daughters - Leonora Smoot - was my gg-grandfather's second wife and my gg-grandmother. If anyone knows anything about John Blackburn, (probably born 1780's) I would love to hear from you. Thanks! Shari
