Carl Betz was born in Belleview IL and died in Kansas City MO. Parents were Johann Gottlieb Betz (1816-1878) and Kuniguude Leitner, both of Bavaria, and came to the US around 1843. There were siblings Johann Heinrich Betz born 1847 and Henrietta 1848, both in Baltimore. Carl married Louise Wittig in Terre Haute IN 1885. I have further family information to share with descendants.
