Dear Joyce, I am most honoured, and thrilled I must say, to make your acquaintance. We are cousins, so to speak. I spoke with my father on the telephone about your great-grandmother. Here's what. There will be a gathering of the Poiriau de Bellefeuille clan in Sainte-Marthe (Québec), on Saturday July 7. I haven't the slightest idea how many people will be there. I for one hope to attend. Maybe Marcel de Bellefeuille, a second cousin of mine, will also make the trip. He is the great family genealogist, has been doing research for decades, and knows just about everything about the Poiriau de Bellefeuille saga. Now, I don't know where you are (Canadian? American?), but if you could make it, you could meet him. If not, I will most certainly ask him about Véronique.
