I have so little information and no results on any searches I have done. I feel this one is just in the too hard basket.
Here is what I have:
Christina Baert married Josiah Hadley England 1836. Parish records etc of marriage do not offer any further information on Christina.
Family cannot be found in the 1841 England Census
The 1851 England Census reveals:
Josiah Hadley Head
Christina Hadley Belgium British Subject - wife
Susannah Hadley Belgium British Subject - daughter
Marie Van Loo Belgium British Subject - niece
Susannah Hadley appears to have been born a year before (1835) the Baert Hadley marriage in 1836. So is Josiah the father?
Susannah death certificate reveals that the maiden name of her mother Christina was Le Fevre. Place of birth for Susannah is stated as Ghent Holland.
Christina death certificate reveals Fathers surname as De Beart, mothers not stated. Place of birth stated as Belgium.
Records indicate that:
Christina was born around the 1807
and niece Marie Van/Von Loo/Soo 1826
The little I have is confusing, but I tend to think the Le Fevre name was Christina mothers maiden name on some occassions and others I think was she married to a Baert and Le Fevre was her maiden name and as for Susannah I have tried Hadley, Baert and Le Fevre.
Would appreciate any help or ideas on the above.
