Mabel, Been a year since I've attempted to work on the Wishart family when confusion made me give up. My line starts with James Wishart and I need his wife's name. I need birth dates for both. Their son Harry, b. 1680 (my 6 grandfather) was m. to Margaret Blair. They had a son John b. 1709. Somebody?? had a son John Wishart (my 5 grandfather) b. 1709 who m. Mary (Drummond). John and Mary (Drummond) had a son Dr. David Wishart Sr.(my 4 grandfather) b. 9/8/1752 who m. Janet Belch. David d. in Yellow Creek, PA in 1839 and Janet d. 1815 in Yellow Creek, PA. David Sr. & Janet had son David Jr. (my ggg grandfather) and he m. Barbara A. Livingston. They had a daughter Jane Wishart and that is where my Wishart line ends as Jane m. Col. James Madara. As you can see, I have almost nothing on Janet Belch my gggg grandmother. Help appreciated! Thanks for replying.
