hi bruce, i was very interested in your post regarding the myth of mary hyanno. i am a direct line descendent of richard taylor, born c.a 1619. place of death listed , barnstable. the information , lists richard's wife as ruth (unknown). this was received a good ten years ago from the genealogical society of yarmouth , mass. ironically, at the time i was very heavily into researching the tayler/eldridge/hall/ lines. i contacted a woman from plymouth pantation who told me that my eldred/eldridge line was wampanoag, as well as the tayler line. this lady was an eldridge/tayler, and is also recognized in the wamponoag tribe. i was surprised but ran into many dead ends here....i kind of forgot about what she told me, until i happened upon your post. i note that this is a relatively older post, but it is very intersting to me. can you please comment. ironically, i also descend directly from william bradford, plymouth. thank you margaret
