I am also a descendant of Rev. Stephen Batchelder, My line follows the two Nathaniel Batchelder's then Benjamin Bathelder born 1673 and married Susan Page. One of their daughters was Susannah Batchelder born May 28, 1713 in Hampton, New Hampshire. She married Ebenezer Webster. Their daughter Susannah Webster born January 31, 1740 married Lt. Andrew Bohonon, Their daughter Mary Polly Bohonon married James Taylor, their son Rufus Taylor married Amanda E. Post and their daughter Mary Ann Electa married Jeremiah Henry Norton, my third great grandparents.
I just joined the DAR on Jonathan Taylor born December 8, 1750. James Taylor's was his son.

I had done lots of research on Anthony Taylor of Hampston, New Hampshire also a founder of Hampton, New Hampshire. It was thorough this book that my Grandfather, Fred Arthur Pickett was in it. It was shocking to find out the Col. Ebenezer Webster was a great uncle and Daniel Webster would be a distant cousin of mine! There is so many people that I am related to that served in the Rev. War. this Tuesday I will be inducted into the Washington DAR branch.
I was just reading that Rev. Stephen Batchelder was one of the people that gave money for the Plough Ship to come to American and on that ship was John Carman, who is a 11th great grandfather on my Grandmothers side. To think that my great granfathers on both sides of my fathers parents would be the Puritan Founders that came to America in 1631/1632. Then when I was doing Taylor research I found out that Anthony Taylor (on my fathers side) sold land to John Cass (on my mothers side) and then 327 years later my Mother and Father get married.
What a history I have! I just wish my parents and grandparents had know all this about their ancestors!
