I'm seeking information on John Warren Barrows Sr. b. 1799 MA. md 1)Emily ____ b. 1809 VT. 2) Mary A. ______b. 1816 Vt. This family first appears on the 1840 Windsor Co., VT. census, with 6 daughters. For the 1850, 1860,1870, 1880 census, they are in Rutland Co., Vt. with the exception of John W. Barrows and second wife who have moved back to Windsor Co., but returned to Rutland County by 1880. By 1850 there have been two additions of sons and one daughter, Emily. Emily and Dana are possibly twins, but it is believed that sshe died in infancy. Am also seeking information and descendants of his son Dana Barrows b. 1849VT., Betsey Barrows b. 1835 -probably Windsor Co., Vt., and Miriam Barrows b. 1832 also probably Windsor Co., Vt. md Alfred Rowr (ROWE). His brother, John Warren Barrows Jr.is my ancestor. Could John W. Barrows Sr. be the son of James Barrows b. 4 May 1761 and married Elizabeth Shaw? Any help will be appreciated. Thank you Phyllis
