Samuel HAWTHORNE was a relation of mine through marriage to Elizabeth Mawdesley. He was born about 1866/7 in Staffordshire, England. He became a Methodist Minister who went to Barbados. After the church suffered severe damaage a new building was erected and was named the Samuel Mawdesley Hawthorne Memorial Church (family oral tradition) but I understand is now known as the Hawthorne Methodist Church. I would welcome any information about Samuel and Elizabeth and their descendants.
