How did one spell Bachert? Bacher is indeed one of the renderings I have found. That's a major problem to me as I attempt to gain knowledge of where Catherine Rishel married Anthony Bachert. They are my 3rd Great Grandparents. In 1824, in Columbia County, Catherine is granted a bill of divorce from Anthony. And, outside of the fact that their oldest daughter Mary married Joseph Hittle, I really don't know much more about either Catherine or Anthony.
