I'm seeking information on two Axtells buried in Weston Chapel Cemetery in Noble County, Indiana. First is CHARLES AXTELL, born 11 Apr 1849 & died 27 Mar 1875. My research tells me he was the son of David Axtell & Christina Hutchinson and grandson of Isaac & Rebecca (Riggs) Axtell. Charles married MARY TRASTER on 27 Oct 1871. Does anyone know what became of Mary? I can find no record of her after her marriage! Second, next to Charles is a small stone that reads 'SHERMAN W. AXTELL, born 31 Dec 1873, died 10 Dec 1875'. Is this the son of Charles & Mary? My interest is not because I'm related, but we're forming a "Weston Chapel Cemetery Preservation Association" and are trying to get all the information we can on everyone buried there, which will subsequently be posted at "Find A Grave" (a really good site, if you've never tried it). Thanks for any help you can offer me. Carol
