Kelly, there is no such place as a "Mahrem". You must actually be referring to what was until 1918 the Austrian province called in German MÄHREN, or if written without the "Umlaut" (two dots) over the "A", MAEHREN, and called in English MORAVIA, the capital of which was the city of BRÜNN, or if written without the "Umlaut" (two dots) over the "U", BRUENN, now known by the Czech name BRNO.

Moravia and the neighboring former Austrian provinces of BOHEMIA (in German: BÖHMEN, or if written without the "Umlaut", BOEHMEN; capital: PRAGUE) and the very small AUSTRIAN SILESIA (in German: ÖSTERREICHISCH-SCHLESIEN; capital: TROPPAU, now known by the Czech name OPAVA) are the three components of today's CZECH REPUBLIC.
