I have hit a brick wall looking for Addie Croese Wilton. Addie was the base born daughter of Margaret Waller Wilton and her father was possibly Adrian Croese who died 1917 aged 26 in France WW1

Margaret Waller Wilton then married David Alexander Gillespie in 1923 at Hamilton NSW when Addie was aged 6 years.

Addie Croese Wilton married aged 17 in 1933 to Norman Frederick Hughes. Addie and Norman had 3 children.
Thomas b 1934
William b 1936
Neville b 1939

In 1937 Addie Croese Hughes is at Bullaroo Hunter NSW.
After that date there seems to be no trace of Addie. I know that she and Norman seperated and that the children were put into care. I do not believe that Addie divorced Norman and he died in 1990 Sydney.

I am hoping that the step sisters and brothers of Addie may know what happened to her. Margaret Waller Wilton Addies mother who married David Alexander Gillespie died at Hamilton NSW 7 March 1997.

I am sure that it would have on her death certificate whether Addie was still alive and also her surname if she changed it. I do hope someone can help to solve the mystery of Addie.
