Looking for info regarding the McCartney family from Ayrshire Scotland. My history as I know it. myself: Shaun McCartney Born in Hamilton lived in Stonehouse until 1973 then I emmigrated to Australia. Fathers Name: Colin Campbell McCartney, Spouse Greta Burlington. Grandfather: Robert McCartney, spouse Evlyn Maders G Grandfather: Robert Tweed McCartney , spouse Lilias Park. GG Grandfather: Thomas James McCartney, spouse Mary Tweed GGG Grandfather: William McCartney, spouse Margaret Cohellen or Copelton, hard to tell from the marriage certificate. GGGG Grandfather: Arthur McCartney, spouse Elisabeth McClarie. This is just my direct line and I have many more names on my family tree.
