He was transported on the Marquis of Hastings( 2 ) sailing on the 11th July 1842 from London / Spithead and reached Hobart 8th November 1842.



Religion - Protestant

Read and Write - both

Father - Thomas

Mother - Alice.

Brothers - James, John

Sisters - Mary, Ellen, and two others that were hard to read.

Trade - Imperfect Whitesmith ( worker in tin not qualified )

Height - 5 ft 41/2 inches

Age - 21

Hair - brown

Eyes - Hazel

The names of his parents and siblings are taken from his convict papers.

Can someone view the convict papers for us please to see if they can verify the names of parents and siblingsor if not are the convict papers on line?
