Looking for any information about the family of Luke J DAVIS and Catherine CAMPBELL. I have a child Henry born 1872 in Menindie NSW. As far as I know Luke DAVIS was born in England abt 1819 was sentenced (in 1848)to 7 years in Van Diemans land. Arrived there on 24th July 1850 aboard the ship Blenheim. Trying to find marriage to Catherine CAMPBELL and possible family for both Luke and Catherine. Henry (known as Alfred) Davis was my great grandfather and he married Eliza Ann Giddings. They had children called Eliza Ellenor(nee Davis) who married George Thomas HALL about 1937 Belmont NSW.Also John H DAVIS and Doris E Small married 1932 Parkes NSW. Perhaps someone knows people connected with this family. Thankyou in advance.
