MOXON George Melville born Gympie 28-9-1898, or thereabouts.
Parents Herbert and Mary. He resided in Gympie and attended One Mile School. His name is on the Monkland State School Honour Role WW1. No infornmation can be found regarding George Melville MOXON between the dates 1914 to 1919. AWM can give no indication as to where he may have been as no records regarding any services are there. Nil !! Never signed up. He came to light about 1920 as a fruit grower at Forrest Glen near Nambour. In Emerald 1926 he married Catherine Jane Daniels. 1936 saw miller at Nambour. 1943 a saw sharpener at Bundaberg. 1947 he died.
If anyone could help with information to determine what or where he was during the years mentioned, it would be greatly appreciated. His name wouldn't be on the Honour roll if he hadn't joined for servcice.
with thanks
Anne
