Hi Annie,, No QLD is a different state to NSW and they keep different records... I tried checking GRIFFIN for NSW in Rolls and Directories but cannot see anything that stands out...(without a first name for GRIFFIN it is a bit hard) He was born in Tumut area which is pretty close to Harden...maybe it was a married sister or family member he went to stay with after the "child out of marriage" stuff started????
