Hi Michelle,

Cenus records in Australia have never been kept it has only be the last two census where people can elect to have there information keot and released in 100 years time.

Electoral records are not on line- they are available at the Electoral Roll Offices in Australia and some Socities have the later rolls on Microfiche. Not much help unless you are here in Australia I guess.

For deaths in New South Wales, try this site it has death and funeral notices from most of the Newspapers in New South Wales- once you identify a record you can request a free look up- one request per day is the rule and you will then get a copy of the wording of the relevant notice

Web site:

There are some interstate newspapers as well

Is well worth a search
I hope this helps a bit further

Kind Regards
Gordon
